Journalist killed in North Kivu, DRC

Rachidi Mustapha Kazadi, a recent journalist with the Mwesso Community Radio and Television (RTCM), was killed by unidentified gunmen on the evening of Friday, December 5, in Katsiru, a village in the Gihondo group, Rutshuru territory, North Kivu. According to RTCM management, now based in Beni, the journalist was killed during an attack on a restaurant where several people were present. He was returning from Bambo when he was ambushed by the assailants, who opened fire.
