Bilal Rajab, a 27-year-old Palestinian journalist and a camera operator for Al-Quds Al-Youm TV, was killed on November 1, 2024, in an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza City, according to the Beirut-based press freedom group SKeyes and news reports.

“Our colleague Bilal was with a group of citizens at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon at the Samer Junction in central Gaza City when Israeli aircraft targeted them, killing Bilal immediately,” Al-Quds Al-Youm TV executive director Mohammed Abu Shawish told CPJ.
