Former journalist Swapan Bhadra was killed outside of his home on 12 October, with police taking 18 year old Sagar Miya into custody, His family allege that he was killed due to his Facebook posts denouncing drugs. State police have claimed that Sagar is the killer, and that he has previously attacked people with knives.
