Journalist killed in Israeli airstrike on her home

Salam Mema, a 32-year-old freelance Palestinian journalist and head of the Women Journalists Committee at the Palestinian Media Assembly, an organization committed to advancing media work for Palestinian journalists, was killed when her home in the Jabalia camp, situated in the northern Gaza Strip, was hit by an Israeli airstrike, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, Wafa, and the coalition Women In Journalism.
