Radio commentator running for town councillor shot dead in Sultan Kudarat, Philippines

Jaynard Angeles was shot dead in an auto repair shop in Tacurong City on Wednedsay January 12 by two unknown assailants who fled the scene by motorcycle.
According to the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP), Angeles was a radio commentator for Radyo ni Juan Tacurong. He was also running for town councillor in Lambayong town in the Sultan Kudarat province.
