Details
The assailants were on a motorcycle and fled the scene - Cortes was pronounced dead on arrival at the local hospital. Cortes had worked as a radio broadcaster since 2003 and his commentaries were on politics, often focusing on local politicians. Two unknown men had previously been into his workplace to enquire about his schedule.
