Details

Joaquin Carrillo Ruiz said late Monday he has sent investigators to Acatlan de Perez Figueroa, along the state's border with Veracruz, to look into the shooting death of Armando Saldana Morales, whose body was found Monday. Saldana Morales was a reporter for an FM radio station in nearby Tierra Blanca, Veracruz. Veracruz has been a dangerous state for reporters. The Committee to Protect Journalists reported in January it had confirmed four reporters had been killed because of their work since 2011, and was investigating the deaths of at least six others. At least three more have disappeared. See the original article here.
