Mohamed Ahmed Taysir Bellou

Mohamed Ahmed Taysir Bellou, a correspondent for the opposition Shahba news agency and and editor of Shahba television in Syria, was shot to death near Aleppo.
The news agency blamed the killing on a Syrian army sniper.
The northern Aleppo region had been the focus of a major military advance in the days leading up to the killing.
