Allan Dizon
Shooting
Allan Dizon, a reporter-photographer of the Freeman daily and its sister publication Banat News in Cebuano, was shot three times by an unidentified man.
Dizon was standing near a car wash outlet near the Cebu North Reclamation Area when the shooting started. Dizon was hit in the back, with the bullet exiting through his breast, in the right side of his abdomen and in his cheek. Dizon was a responsible father and husband. He had four children aged between 8 to 11. Police authorithies have formed the Task Force Newsman to look into Dizon's murder.
