Santi Lammaninin, 38, was shot once in his temple and once in his forehead.
He was the owner of the Thai-language Pattaya Post in the Thai beach resort town of Pattaya. His body was found inside his car alongside a road outside of the city, 150 kilometers (90 miles) southeast of the capital, Bangkok. Santi worked also as a freelancer for the military-owned Channel 7 television station as well as for several newspapers.
