Gunmen ambushed a car carrying a local journalist, killing him and another person in the vehicle in a tribal region of northwestern Pakistan.
However, it was not clear who was behind late Tuesday's killings of Ubaidullah Azhar and his friend Gul Wahid in Dargai, a town in the deeply conservative North West Frontier Province. Police have registered a case against the unidentified attackers and officers were still investigating.
