Guadalupe Garcia, 39, reporter for radio station Stereo 91 in Nuevo Laredo, just across from Laredo, Texas died on Saturday of wounds received when she was shot by a suspected drug gang hitman in northern Mexico.
The reporter was hit by a hail of bullets on April 5. Garcia, who hosted a crime show on the Stereo 91 station, died in a local hospital.
