Laik Ibrahim, Kurdistan-TV’s bureau chief in Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad)was shot dead on 10 March 2005 as he drove to his bureau.
Kurdistan-TV is the satellite television station of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
