Details

Asim Nath, Delhi-based Chief Reporter of the Bengali daily Aajkaal, was crushed to death by a bus near Gol Dak Khana in New Delhi. 

He was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital nearby where he was declared 'brought dead'.

Nath was on his way to cover a parliamentary session when he was killed and the driver of the bus has been arrested on charges of causing death due to rash and negligent driving. Nath is survived by his wife Seema and one-year-old son, Aakash.

Asim Nath had been working with the newspaper in Delhi for over 15 years and was covering Parliament and the Congress.
