Journalist killed in Basra by random shots

A journalist working for a TV channel was killed on Wednesday in Basra province by random shots fired by mourners of the funeral of Sheikh Ghanim clans, a security source reported.
"The mourners of the funeral of Sheikh Othman Ghanim in al-Zubair district shot randomly as an expression of grief , but one of the bullets hit the reporter and photographer of Baghdad Satellite Channel, Wadah al-Hamdani ,” the source told “Shafaq News”.
He added that the bullet hit his neck as killed him immediately.
