Aswan Ahmed Lutfallah, 35, an Iraqi cameraman for US-based Associated Press Television Network (APTN) was shot dead in the northern city of Mosul.
He was having his car repaired in an industrial area in the eastern part of the city when insurgents and police began fighting nearby and he rushed to cover the clash. Insurgents spotted him filming, approached him and shot him to death. Aswan leaves a wife and two children. He worked for APTN in Mosul since 2005.
