Jasim Mohhamed Nofaan, Khaled Hamed Nofaan and Zeyad Tariq al-Dibo, who all worked for Al Watan newspaper, were ambushed and killed by an unidentified armed group on the public road leading to Kirkuk.
Two security guards were injured in the attack.
