Road accident
Nischal Thapa, 27, news editor at Ganatantra FM in Dharan, was killed in a motorcycle accident at Betuwa road section along the Mechi highway in Belbari.
He died on the way to the hospital. Nischal and his colleague were involved in an accident after capturing live coverage of the UCPN (Maoist) Limbuwan, Kochila autonomous states declaration progrrame. Their motorcycle collided with a bus heading from the opposite direction.
