Explosion
Cameraman Haidar Hashim Suhail, 27, and correspondent Souhaib Adnan, 30, of Baghdadiya TV, a Cairo-based independent station, were killed in a suicide bombing west of Baghdad.
The suicide bomber detonated his explosives in a crowd of tribal leaders and senior security officials in a market in Abu Ghraib. The journalists were covering a reconciliation meeting attended by Sunni and Shi'a sheiks and prominent officials, including the deputy Interior Minister for tribal affairs. In all, 33 people were killed in Tuesday's attack.
