Sushil Pathak was shot dead by unidentified people in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh.
The 35-year-old, who was a journalist with Dainik Bhaskar, was returning home from work at around 2am and had parked his car in a nearby street when he was shot. Pathak was found by a fellow journalist lying in a pool of blood after the assailants fled. He was declared dead at hospital.
