Mujeebur Rehman Saddiqui

Mujeebur Rehman Saddiqui, a correspondent of the daily Pakistan was shot by unidentified gunmen when he came out of a mosque after evening prayers in Dargai.
He died from two bullet wounds at his arrival at the Peshawar Hospital.Saddiqui, 39, was a founder member of the Press Club in Malakand area and has been in the profession for the last two decades. He was also a famous poet of the area. He had reportedly received a number of death threats from militants for his uncompromising reporting. Saddiqui is survived by two sons, a daughter and a widow.
