Assaf Abu Rahhal was killed in clashes between the Israeli and Lebanese armies, according to the website Now Lebanon.
It said the 55-year-old, a journalist for Al-Akhbar, was reporting on the fighting from the southern Lebanese town of Aadiseh. Ali Shaib, a correspondent with Al-Manar television was also believed to have been wounded whilst covering the fighting.
