Syaifullah, Borneo bureau chief with Indonesia’s biggest daily newspaper Kompas, was found dead at his home in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan province.
As he was known for his uncompromising reporting on environmental issues many of his colleagues believe he was poisoned.
