Indian Express Senior Reporter Vijay Pratap Singh was injured in the blast outside an Uttar Pradesh minister's house in Allahabad.
He remained in critical state and died ten days later. Prior to joining the Express he worked with The Leader and The Times of India. Vijay Pratap Singh was 38 years old. He is survived by a wife and two young children.
