Wali Khan Babar was shot dead in Karachi whilst on his way home in his car.
The 29-year-old journalist who worked for the private television channel Geo News was stuck in a traffic jam when a man stopped outside his car, pulled out his pistol and shot Babar several times in the head, according to police, who say they are treating the killing as premeditated murder.
