Maria Len Flores Somera, who hosted a programme on radio station DZME, was shot in the back of the neck by an unidentified gunman in the Malabon City area of Manila.
Police said she died in hospital after the attack, which happened on her way to work. Investigators are still determining the motive behind the killing, the added.
