A UK-based photographer was shot dead by Libyan forces loyal to Colonel Gaddafi, his family say.
South African-born Anton Hammerl was killed in a remote location in the Libyan desert. Journalists with him said pro-Gaddafi troops opened fire on them with AK-47s. Hammerl was fatally wounded.
