Naresh Khadka, who was Secretary of the Bajhang Chapter of FNJ, succumbed to serious head injuries after falling cliff rocks hit him at Pankot Bridge of Hemantawada VDC-1 of Bajhang District (Far Western Region of Nepal) on September 10.
The accident occurred when Khadka was heading from his residence towards his office of Chainpur Daily in the district headquarters. Khadka was airlifted in an unconscious state first to Nepalgunj on a helicopter and then to Kathmandu on a regular flight on advice of medical doctors attending him for further treatment in an effort initiated by FNJ Headquarters. He died while undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Anamnagar, Kathmandu on September 12. Source: IFJ
