Iraqi journalist killed in Diyala blast

A local journalist working for the Diyala satellite television station was killed Wednesday evening (November 14th) when a sticky bomb attached to his car exploded in Baqubah, the capital of Diyala province, according to the provincial government.
Diyala province spokesperson Samira al-Shebli told Al-Shorfa that Ziad Tareq, the main news anchor at the television station, was driving his car when the bomb exploded near a restaurant in Baqubah. Five other civilians were wounded in the blast, she said.
