Staying safe at Rio Olympics

In the coming weeks, we will be producing a series of safety briefings offering information on how to deal with the main threat faced by journalists in Rio including criminality, terrorism and health threats like the Zika virus. We'll also be hosting meetings for our members around the world to discuss Olympic safety concerns, looking after teams on the ground in Rio and what to do if the worst happens and a journalist gets into trouble. We've just organised meetings in Paris and Stockholm with another planned for New York in May. If you'd like to join INSI and gain access to these members-only briefings and events please get in touch at info@newssafety.org. Image by AFP
