Broadcaster who had been threatened for his work found dead in Uttar Pradesh, India

Sulabh Srivastava, a TV reporter for channels ABP News and ABP Ganga, was declared dead on June 13, 2021, in the Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh in India.

His body was found by locals in the area.

Only a day before his death, Srivastava had officially filed a complaint to police over threats he got after reporting on a local criminal alcohol-selling gang. He had complained of being followed and feared that members of the group would harm him for his reporting on their activities.
