Journalist dies in mysterious circumstances in Bangladesh

A journalist died after ‘falling’ from the roof of Uttara West Police Station in the city Sunday evening.

The deceased journalist was identified as Shah Alam Sagar (40).

The journalist died after ‘falling’ from the police station’s roof, Assistant Police Commissioner Saifullah Mohammdad said.

However, the locals alleged that Shah Alam Sagar fell from the roof after being chased by policemen.

Sagar went to the police station to learn about a general diary (GD) filed against him for publication of a corruption report.

But the police officer denied it.
